I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate Mike Roque on his business venture and pass along my recommendations for his service. Mike is very knowledgeable with regard to the many options available for successful kitchen and bathroom design. He has a true desire to make the client happy. I had the pleasure of working with Mike for my master bathroom and kitchen renovations. During the initial discussions with regard to the kitchen reno, Mike recommended knocking down the wall between the kitchen and dining room. I was not in love with the idea because this was a support wall, the hardwood floor in the dining room was only 5 years old, and I was very concerned about damage. Well, Mike knew I would be happiest with the wall gone, and worked with me to alleviate my concerns. In the end, the wall went, the floor was unscathed, and the final result, stunning. My kitchen is actually larger, and the living areas are much brighter. Mike will do "whatever it takes". When a bag of grout was urgently needed for the bathroom tiles, Mike delivered it to the door. When his previous employer suddenly went into receivership and the employees were about to be locked out, Mike grabbed the kitchen cabinet knob I had paid for and dropped it off in my mailbox. We have had Mike and his team renovate much of our home in 3 phases over a couple years. We first re-did our main bathroom, which we were very happy with the way it came out. The next year Empire came back to redo all our hardwood floors and trim thought the main floor. Our 3rd time working with Empire we had them come in and and completed a full basement renovation, including another full bathroom.
